Fireplace Inserts

Retrofit your existing fireplace

Retrofit your existing fireplace with a wood, gas, or pellet insert, converting it into a highly efficient source of heat for your home.

Wood Inserts

Wood is the traditional fuel; it grows locally, is abundant in most areas, and is one of our few renewable sources of energy. Burning wood makes great sense from an environmental standpoint. Unlike fossil fuels, there is no net carbon contribution when burning wood. Feen’s offers a number of sizes and styles to complement colonial, traditional, and contemporary decor.

 Gas Inserts

Gas inserts provide all the warmth and aesthetic with very little effort. They are easy to use, require no electricity (with the exception of the blower), are clean-burning, and use outdoor air to provide combustion, keeping the air quality from changing within your home.

Pellet Inserts

Pellet fireplace inserts help to offset the heating costs without the work of bringing wood into the home. Pellets are made from compressed sawdust which might otherwise end up in landfills. A pellet insert is a mechanical-electrical unit that provides a long-burn time especially when high-quality pellets are used.

Gas Logs

Gas logs are a wonderful way to make a fireplace usable and take the effort out of burning wood. They are clean-burning, require minimal installation, and can be operated with a flick of a switch! Gas logs are available for natural gas or propane, and can be provided either ventless or vented.

Vented gas logs require a flue or a chimney to exhaust the carbon monoxide they produce as a by-product. Ventless gas logs have burner elements so they will burn with little carbon monoxide production. Our staff can help you determine which type would be appropriate for your needs.
